HYSA – situated on the East Rand in Meadowdale in close proximity to Johannesburg International Airport and the major highways that link the country – is the procurement arm of the entire Hytec Group of Companies.

With the assistance of the HYTEC Hamburg office, HYSA oversees the entire logistics chain; from our suppliers overseas to the delivery of the product to the Afripower branches in South Africa and the Hytec companies in Sub Saharan Africa.

Price negotiation, consolidation of sea and airfreight shipments, costing and expediting all forms part of the duty carried out by the thirty dedicated staff members at HYSA with weekly shipments and special deliveries executed within 24 hours, from supplier to end customer, we pride ourselves in doing the best job “the first time” around.

Supported by dedicated IT systems, EDI’s and tailor made software, HYSA has embraced the ever changing world of supply chain management and will continue to supply the service required and demanded by customers. A direct link to the SAP system of our principle supplier allows for rapid updates of delivery status of particularly urgent products. The future will bring even closer electronic cooperation, linking HYSA with the supplier, the freight forwarder, customs and the client at the same time.
